Time’s up for the Artifact RPG Kickstarter!

7 Oct

The Artifact RPG Kickstarter, failed to reach funding.

Well, those regular readers of this blog, will already know that the artifact RPG kickstarter failed to reach sufficient funds a few days ago. It is a shame about this, I love to see Indie Games do well, but alas this was not to be.

I wish Emmett all the best luck in the world with his next move to take the whole thing forward, and I will keep my eye on how this will progress with interest. To sum up the campaign, Emmett makes a great post over on the Artifact website, and I must commend him on his brilliant bit of analysis of the figures and data he got from it. If you have an interest in Kickstarter RPG campaigns in particular, go and check it out here The Kickstarter is dead, Long live the Kickstarter!

Thanks for the link to a great Kickstarter Post Mortem. I love to read these things. I typically stick to the positive side of live projects, such as in my post Wednesday: http://caffeineforge.com/2012/10/03/im-a-backer-fargoal-2/ but I love to see stories like this that take another perspective.

    Great job!

Thanks for your comment, i too love to read this stuff nowadays, I am probably going to run a kickstarter in the new year when it becomes available in the UK, so rather than stuffing the whole thing up like my Indiegogo one, I have been absorbing all I can about crowd funding, so I don’t cock the next one up! i’m sure you’ve seen this one I wrote about, thats a good read too
Bit i still have to say, Emmett did a great job!!
